August 26...Wow What A Summer!

First, thanks to all who participated in out UNRESERVED AUCTION and to the wise buyers who purchased each of the 25 available lots.

Of course, that is the biggest news of the summer.. The available lots in the first phase of VILLAGE WEST ESTATES are SOLD OUT!

It sounds like pretty well everyone is happy. The buyers got good bargains. The realtors are happy to have 25 lots sold and a banchmark for future pricing. Most existing owners are happy to have the renewed activity and new neighbours.

The other big news is the delivery just this past Monday of our new 169' long pedestrian bridge. No, it's not ready to walk on yet. We still have to pour the concrete foundation and then pull it across the ravine, but that should happen yet this fall.

And then we will have a party! Well, at least some sort of get together. We're still doing a few things with the trails.

July 07 New Foot Bridge on Fire Pond

September/08

Wow - September Already!

Lots of exciting things happening right now.

1. We're excavating the "fire pond" at the Highway entrance. Actually, although this pond will be used as an emergency water supply for the Fire dept; it is way more than that. More like a park. Walkways all around. A rock outfall at the Highway with a little bridge over. Some trees. Some benches. Great!
2. We've been working on, cleaning up, widening, leveling all the trails in the Subdivision. Take a coffee or a pop and walk the ravine ridge trail -Very Pretty.
3. Power and gas service are now complete. If you want service to your lot click here for contracts and application procedures.
4. 2 Lot Sales this week!
5. Some folks have set up their summer trailers on their lots. 2 Homes (Cottages?!!) are being started. Other lot owners are in various stages of clearing, planning, etc.
