Rural Roots Hair Studio

Owned and operated by Megan Fiveland, Rural Roots Hair Studio has been servicing The Village At Pigeon Lake residents and visitors since Oct 2006. Megan’s stylist’s “roots” began in Sylvan Lake, moved to Wetaskiwin, and then Essentials Spa & Wellness here in the Village where she decided to set up shop.

Megan welcomed Laura Cameron, a local resident of Pigeon Lake who will apprentice at Rural Roots and bring fresh new ideas and now she is happy to announce the arrival of Samantha Adair as the freshest face to the Rural Roots family. Sam worked with Megan in Sylvan Lake and is originally from Caroline AB. After marrying a local boy, Sam is ambitious to meet new clients here at Rural Roots. 

Rural Roots offers hair care for the entire family, and we stock a wide variety of products, irons and more.

 Weddings and special events may be booked on Saturdays

Hours:

10am - 6pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays

12am - 8pm Thursdays

For our mature clients, we offer Seniors Day on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. This day is 10% off all services for clients 60+. Gift certificates, and custom-made gift baskets are available in any denomination or size.
